The Palestinian Friends of the Environment Society has implemented a project of installing a 7.5 kW solar power plant for the drinking water desalination plant in Al-Shoka area in Rafah.

This activity comes within the framework of the activities of the project: Improving Access to Drinking Water, Health Conditions and Environment in the Gaza Strip funded by the Italian Cooperation (AICS) and in partnership with the Oxfam Foundation and with the implementation of the Palestinian Friends of the Environment Society.
